The motor must be capable of delivering high torque in continuous mode during moving floor operation.
Furthermore, effective waterproof protection during the motor’s whole lifespan is mandatory.
The movement is obtained through the usage of belt and pulley or screw jacks.
Mechanical designers have two options to conceive their product:
- PL Series, IP68 tubular motor (tube is rotating and shaft is fix)
- DL Series, cubic motor (motor is fix and shaft is rotating)
In both cases motors are IP68 waterproof and they are UL recognized components.

In order to make automatic drive of the deck comfortable and aesthetic at the same time, a solar panel power feed is envisaged.

In fact, our product range is based on brushed DC motor respecting security norms since current and tension are limited and very low.
Thanks to an efficient and modular planetary gearbox, high torque values can be reached without necessity of monophasic or triphasic motors.

UnipoolmotorAs seen for safety covers, electric drives are also the main alternative to traditional hydraulic drives for slatted covers.
While in the past swimming pools where usually not equipped with electricity, nowadays a number of electric devices requiring wiring (lights, sensors, robot, etc.) are present.
In addition, low voltage current and tension is therefore available and can be used to drive slatted covers as well.
Finally, this approach is also more ecological and avoids all the hiccups possible with hydraulics (high pressure devices, oil leakages, maintenance costs, etc.)
